Giving Tuesday

Please join us in celebrating Giving Tuesday by making a donation to help the homeless animals in our care. Giving Tuesday encourages people to do good. It has grown into a global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity.

This year we are raising money to support West Suburban Humane Society’s core mission; finding safe, compatible and permanent homes for adoptable dogs and cats. Since the beginning, our passion has always been connecting people and animals and changing lives along the way.

As many of you know, we are just months away from opening the doors to our brand new adoption center. Along with many improved spaces, one of our favorite features will be private indoor and outdoor areas where individuals can get to know and bond with the animals they may soon call family. This is something we have never been able to give potential adopters and believe it can make a big impact on the adoption process.

Although our look might be changing soon, our mission remains as strong as ever and we need your help. This year for #GivingTuesday, consider donating to West Suburban Humane Society to help us keep bringing families together and changing lives.

On behalf of our furry friends, thank you!

Even during this pandemic, WSHS is caring for an average of 200 animals at any time and continuing to match them with families. We have made it our practice to accept animals with expensive medical needs or ones that need significant time to adjust before being ready for adoption. This comes with extra costs but, with your help, we can continue to ensure that every animal has a chance at a life with a loving family. Will you join us in this effort?
