Animal Explorers Summer Camp

Registration for our exciting new summer camp is now open!

Please note that due to construction of our new facility, all summer camps will be held at the Unitarian Church of Hinsdale - 17 West Maple Avenue Hinsdale, IL 60521.

All camps meet 9 a.m. – noon, for one week each.

 

Animal Friends (ages 6-8 and 9-11)

Learn about cats, dogs, animal care, shelters, adoptions, and more.

Animal Investigators (ages 9-11)

Learn about the role of animal control and service officers. How do you know if an animal has been neglected and what can you do if they have? What do animals need from us?

Let’s Learn About Cats and Dogs (ages 6-8 and 9-11)

Why do cats meow? Do dogs see in color? Jump into the amazing world of cats and dogs and learn about animal behavior, breeds, characteristics, proper care and feeding, training, toys, and more.

The World of Animals (ages 6-8)

Learn about wildlife around the world, farm animals, and pets such as fish and reptiles. Enjoy surprise visits from some special guests.

Junior Interns (ages 12-14)

Turn your passion for animals into action. Help the teachers with summer camps while you learn about cats and dogs and gain experience. Limited to two interns each month.
