West Suburban Humane Society was one of 31 DuPage County not-for-profit organizations to receive a grant at the DuPage Foundation’s Holiday Open House held on Wednesday, December 11.

It was the luckiest day of Toby’s life when a WSHS supporter called the shelter about an injured cat she found. He was an unneutered male stray, trying to make it through outdoor life without being attacked by other males.
When you walk into the cattery on a Wednesday afternoon, you will be greeted by up to 30 cats and four welcoming women! Janice Mack, Karen Putnam, Tracy Tureson, and Julie Appler love getting to know all of the cats that stay in the cattery until adoption.
