Pop up art sale fundraiser


 On October 12th, 2019 , the West Suburban Humane Society will host its inaugural art show fundraiser, The Art of Nature. Artists are asked to explore nature in all forms and create an original work(s) of their own that incorporates elements of the natural world.

Entry Guidelines

There is no entry fee and you may submit up to 3 entries. If we receive more works than space can accommodate, a committee of visual artists will narrow down the pieces to fill the show. Submissions are open to all artists. Work must be original and all media entries will be accepted.

This is a fundraiser and pieces must be available for sale. 50% of the sale price will benefit the West Suburban Humane Society. Payment to the artist will be made no later than thirty days after the close of the exhibition.

Submissions should be emailed to: from July 1st to August 31st. A completed entry form AND a .jpg of each piece needs to be included with your submission in order to be considered.

All work must be prepared for exhibition. Size limitations for all 2‐D work should be no larger than 48” x 48” including frame. 3‐D work should not exceed 30lbs or 60” in any direction. Two‐dimensional work must be framed, ready for hanging with wire in place. No saw tooth hangers or gallery clips. Work NOT properly framed will be disqualified.

Greatest possible care will be taken of all submitted work, however West Suburban Humane Society nor its employees or volunteers may be held responsible for damage, or loss of any piece submitted. Submitting work denotes acceptance of this fact.
