Matching Gifts

Your contribution to WSHS can be doubled and in some cases tripled through your employer's Matching Gift Program!

Many companies have programs designed to encourage their active full-time and retired employees to contribute to non-profit organizations that serve to improve society.

WSHS has an IRS 501(c)(3) non-profit status, qualifying us to receive these types of contributions.

For information on whether your employer offers a Matching Gift Program, contact either your Personnel, Human Resources, Public Affairs or Philanthropic Services Coordinator/Administrator.

Then all you need to do is:

1. Fill out the short information section on the contribution form (provided by your employer).
2. Send the form with your contribution to West Suburban Humane Society at 1901 Ogden Avenue, Downers Grove, IL 60515.
3. Our Executive Director will complete our section of the form (verifying our non-profit status & your donation), and return the form to your employer.
4. West Suburban Humane Society will receive a contribution to match yours from your employer!

Many companies also donate funds for volunteer services provided by their employees.
