May 8th and 9th - Petals for Pets Plant Sale

Come for a blooming good time and purchase your spring flowers all while helping the animals at the shelter. Learn More

Barkaritaville

West Suburban Humane Society and Bark Avenue Daycamp present Barkaritaville. A great event for families and their dogs. Learn More

June 16th - WSHS General Meeting

There will be a guest speaker and refreshments will be served. Learn More

Labor Day

The shelter will be closed on Monday, September 6th, in observance of the Labor Day holiday.

September 26th - Barkapalooza Walkathon and Pet Expo
